Osun APC Gears Up for 2026 Guber Race as PDP Faces Internal Strife

The Congress of Progressive Youth COPY in Osun commends the All Progressives Congress (APC) for its resolute efforts in uniting its factions and welcoming defectors from the People's Democratic Party (PDP).

In an extraordinary move towards reconciliation, the APC leadership, led by Chairman Alhaji Tajudeen Lawal, has initiated efforts to welcome prominent PDP figures such as Prince Dotun Babayemi, Akin Ogunbiyi and other PDP chiefs into the progressive fold. This monumental shift signifies a strengthening of the APC's unity and a testament to its inclusive approach to governance.

"We observe with admiration the strides made by the APC in fostering unity within its ranks,"

"Former critics are now advocates for peace and synergy, paving the way for a formidable front as we approach the crucial 2026 election season."

As the APC solidifies its base, attention turns to the impending gubernatorial race. The days of Governor Ademola Jackson Adeleke's ineptitude, which brought nothing but shame and tarnished the state's image, are numbered. Osun deserves leadership that prioritizes progress and development over nepotistic and parochial interest, discord and stagnation.

With the APC organizing for victory, the People's Democratic Party finds itself mired in internal strife, highlighting a clear contrast in readiness for governance. The forthcoming elections will not only shape Osun's future but also serve as a referendum on effective leadership.

The Congress of Progressive Youth COPY in Osun urges all citizens to support the APC's vision for a united and prosperous state. Together, we can build a brighter future for Osun.
